Our gathering intentions
A place for
saying goodbye.
F for Farewells designs and leads ceremonies for families who wish to acknowledge the life of a companion animal.
Some take place while an animal is still alive. Others mark a death or make space for remembrance later. We work with words, readings and gestures, shaped around the family and the circumstances.
Our work is ceremony. Physical aftercare remains with your chosen provider.
Goodbye can begin
before a death.
When there is time, a farewell can offer a quiet way to gather while a companion animal is still here. It may be a few words spoken together, a reading, or simply a guided pause.
The animal’s comfort and welfare come first. Not every family has advance notice, and a ceremony is always a choice.

An established foundation.
Kit Chan and Kevin Leung bring professional celebrancy and their own experiences of animal loss to F for Farewells.
Their preparation for end-of-life work began before this brand: through funeral celebrancy, pet funeral care and bereavement education, and experience guiding families through ceremonies.

Remembrance beyond the ceremony.
Our commitment to remembering companion animals extends beyond the ceremonies we lead.
Through Pawfect Witness™, our founders, Kit Chan and Kevin Leung, established the Wangwang Memorial Bench in Richmond as a public place to pause, reflect, and remember animals whose lives deserve recognition.
The memorial plaque is expected to be installed in November 2026.
